On the programme

I welcome you to our wine shop with a glass of wine to start the tasting. We will then watch an informative video about the Alsace wine-making process (adapted for children). I will take you to visit the family cellar dating back to 1850, and discover the century-old oak barrels that we still use to make our wines.

In 2020 following the organic conversion of my entire estate, we renovated our cellar and now use this new space to offer our visitors a new activity. We have a scenographic experience in the cellar with a 180° immersive video projected on barrels : unique in France... This film is not a remake of the video about wine-making process...but a movie about my rather rich personal history, and about my work philosophy. The whole video is projected in the cellar, on century-old oak barrels at 180° (mapping on some sequences) with sound work, throwing the audience in total immersion in my story.

We will finish the tasting in the wine store area with a piece of kougelhopf (typical Alsatian cake). A guide is at your disposal throughout the visit to exchange and answer your questions.

Une decouverte sympathique

Moment sympathique.

OK

Probably better targeted towards families with children and people that don’t know much about wine. Would have preferred to simply do a tasting rather than watch videos.
