We start with a glass of wine in our wine space. Then we will watch an informative video about the Alsace wine-making process (adapted to children). We will visit the cellar, its century-old oak barrels and you will discover our family history through a scenographic experience with a 180° immersive video projected on barrels: unique in France... We will then finish the tasting in our new immesrive tasting room with a wine combinated with each dish (soup, Alsacian foie gras, Alsacian meat pie, desert). Lounge music and images projected on the wall will transport you for a meal in OUR universe, or intermingle wine and tourism…
After the visit you will get a bottle of mulled wine and a piece of Alsatian gingerbread.
The experience is available in French or English depending on the slots: please check the language possibilities before booking!!
I welcome you to the cellar with a glass of wine to start the tasting. We will then watch an informative video on the Alsace wine-making process (adapted for children).
I will take you to visit the family cellar dating back to 1850, and discover the century-old oak barrels that we still use to make our wines. In 2020 following the organic conversion of my entire estate, we renovated our cellar and use now of this new space to offer our visitors a new activity. We have a scenographic experience in the cellar with a 180° immersive video projected on barrels : unique in France...This film is not a remake of the video about wine-making process...but a film about my rather rich personal history, and about my work philosophy. The whole video is projected in the cellar, on century-old oak barrels at 180° (mapping on some sequences) with sound work, throwing the audience in total immersion in my story.
The tasting is then followed by a meal in our NEW TASTING ROOM AND RESTAURANT 100% IMMERSIVE. Lounge music and images projected on the wall will transport you for a meal in OUR universe, or intermingle wine and tourism… This meal is composed- of a cup of soup House starter- followed by a plate of Alsacian foie gras - then a part of Alsacian meat pie accompanied by crudités- The meal ends with a part of kougelhopf and biebelaskaas (Alsatian white cheese) Throughout the meal, each dish is accompanied by a glass of wine from the estate.
NB: Possibility to ask for a vegetarian option. Alsatian pie will be replaced by a quiche with vegetables (remember to specify beforehand). Visit time and meal 2h30 -3h.
For children a menu composed of knacks (small local sausages), vegetable chips, drink and dessert is available. You can also not register the children and they will choose a menu directly here !
A guide is at your disposal throughout the visit to exchange and answer your questions.
After the visit you will get a bottle of mulled wine and a piece of Alsatian gingerbread.

Wine Tour, tasting and Christmas meal
