An Immersive Experience at the Heart of the Alsace Grape Harvest
Have you always wanted to discover what the grape harvest is really like? For a few hours, step into the shoes of a grape harvester and take part in the harvest alongside Muriel GUETH, an Independent Winegrower.After being welcomed at Domaine GUETH, Muriel will provide you with the equipment needed for the harvest: a bucket and pruning shears. You will then head into the vineyards to take part in harvesting the current vintage and discover first-hand the work involved during the grape harvest.
The Winegrower’s Traditional Snack
After a few hours of working outdoors, a generous traditional winegrower’s snack will be served directly in the vineyards. You will share a convivial moment over a selection of cold meats, sausages, cheeses, tarts, cakes and kougelhopf, accompanied by coffee and grape juice.
From Grapes to Wine
After the harvest, you will return to the Domaine to discover what happens to the grapes you have picked. Muriel will show you around the cellar and the pressing facilities and explain the different stages involved in transforming grapes into wine and the winemaking process.You will discover, in particular, how the pressing process works and the various stages that allow the grapes to become wine, according to the Domaine’s winemaking practices.
Tasting the Domaine’s Wines
The experience continues with a tasting of several Domaine GUETH wines. You will discover different styles of Alsace wines, from dry and off-dry wines to sweeter and more luscious styles.
The Winegrower’s Lunch – Meal Option
If you choose the meal option, you can extend the experience with the winegrower’s lunch, shared with Muriel and the harvest team.This convivial and festive meal is served with the Domaine’s wines and offers a genuine moment of sharing at the heart of the grape harvest season.

By car: via the D83, take the D1V exit towards Gueberschwihr, then follow the road through the village to 1 Brunnmattweg. By bus from Colmar Check the current bus route and timetable, as these may vary depending on the day and time of year. Get off at the “Chapelle” bus stop. From there, walk along Route de Rouffach. After approximately 8 minutes, Domaine GUETH is located downhill from the village, on your left.
