The Parc de Wesserling - Ecomusée Textile is a cultural and tourist site in Alsace. It is located in the valley of the Thur, in Wesserling, in the heart of the Ballons des Vosges Regional Nature Park.
Historically anchored in the valley, it is the witness of the fabulous textile epic of the 19th century. Indeed, it was home to a "Royal Manufacture" specialising in textiles using the block printing technique: Indiennage. A royal factory was an industrial establishment founded by royal privilege and enjoying a monopoly. The industry thus supplied the court with Indiennes. Only two textile factories in France were able to benefit from this designation.
Today, the identity of the Parc de Wesserling lies in its gardens, its rich industrial heritage and its Textile Museum. About fifteen events take place in the Park during the year. Companies, designers, traders and artists join this great site to create a large-scale activity zone. The Parc de Wesserling is a real factory town, where rehabilitated buildings and those still fallow allow you to discover one of the greatest textile histories in Alsace.

Le point fort: tarifs inférieurs au prix standard ( j'ai économisé 8€ par rapport au prix de base ). Le point négatif : Au passage à la caisse: les codes barres ne fonctionnaient pas et le site qui délivre les billets était inconnu par le personnel.Heureusement que j'avais ma preuve d'achat.
