On the programme

Discover the soul of our vineyards through a walking tour of about an hour and a half. Between vineyards, streams and almond trees, this walk is an opportunity to discuss the estate's cultivation practices and to take advantage of the different viewpoints from the Grand Cru Mandelberg over the Alsace plain, the Vosges mountains and the medieval towns of Riquewihr and Zellenberg.

This epic journey continues with a visit to our wine cellar. Between vats, barrels and stainless steel tanks, we will have the opportunity to talk about the winegrower's profession and the wine-making process.

The activity continues with a unique sensory experience. In the depths of our cellar, rediscover your senses through three activities:

  • First, a workshop on smell invites you to detect the different aromas of wine. With your sense of smell as your only guide, will you be able to identify the everyday scents found in certain wines?
 
  • In a second phase, a workshop on taste awakens your taste buds. Through the tasting of flavoured waters, find out where the taste buds that detect the 4 primary flavours are located: will you be able to recognise sweetness, saltiness, acidity and bitterness?

 

  • Finally, after effort comes comfort! We end this animation by tasting 3 original food and wine matches with artisanal products: salmon rillettes with dill and Riesling, venison terrine with hazelnuts and Pinot Gris, goat cheese and Gewürztraminer spread.
