The domaine Schoenheitz has been involved in wine tourism for 20 years and offers different packages throughout the year for all lovers of Alsace wines. A discovery farm, member of the diVINes d'Alsace and Slow Food 68, the winery has been awarded the "Vignobles et Découvertes", "Cave de Noël", "Alsace Ecotourisme" and certified organic farming.
For this experience, we welcome you, we present you the history of this valley and its winery, then we explain you all the steps of the wine making, from the grape to the bottle of wine! In the cellar, seated around a large table, it will be time to taste and discuss wine and cheese matches.
When it's time for cheese, many people still believe that it's the ideal moment to bring out their best bottle of red wine. However, we now know that this pairing is not the most interesting: chemically, the milk proteins in cheese and the tannins in red wine are rather incompatible. With white wines, on the contrary, a balance is established between the acidity of the wine and the cheese.
From Riesling to Gewurztraminer, you will taste 5 wines that go perfectly with the cheeses selected from producers in the Munster valley.

Moment gourmand
Nous étions 4 adultes et 2 enfants. Nous avons été ravis de l'accueil également réservé aux enfants. La dégustation de bons vins et de bons fromages reste un moment gourmand et agréable. Nous recommandons cette découverte.
