The hand-dug Tellure silver mine, which was exploited for nearly 400 years, is the largest subterranean cavity in the Vosges mountains. In the company of with a very knowledgeable guide, you will go down the galleries of time, from the 16th to the 20th centuries, for a hour-long underground immersion. Everything you wanted to know and see on silver mining in Val d'Argent!
Nice museum with lots of information on history of (silver) mining nearby. Very interesting tour in the (old) mine itself (that is if you are not claustrophobic...). Very good guide! In our case an English spoken tour with just us (2 persons). Great experience!
Visite enrichissante
Belle visite faite en famille. La durée de la visite guidée dans la mine est adapté et permet de bien comprendre le développement d'une mine et aussi son exploitation. Petit et grand y ont trouvé de l'intérêt. Le musée permet d'approfondir le sujet pour ceux qui le souhaite avec un audio-guide. Nous en avons fait le tour rapidement en nous concentrant sur les pancartes et en profitant du petit film/spectacle animé. Très intéressant je recommande !
